AUSTIN, TX. – The City of Austin recently launched an affordable parking program aimed at easing the financial burden on tourism and hospitality workers who have to park downtown on a daily or nightly basis.

There’s no doubt that parking in Austin Texas can get expensive. Especially if you have to park downtown for your job or business.

Thankfully, anyone who has to park downtown now has an affordable option available to them because, with the affordable parking program, workers will only have to pay between $35 and $65 per month for parking at Waller Creek Center compared to paying much more elsewhere.

The development of two proposed skyscrapers in the Austin Texas area hit a snag this week when a planning commission meeting was canceled at the last moment, denying the developers the necessary permits that they need to move their project forward.

Located off Guadalupe Street in Austin, the project will be a mixed-use project condo office tower (37-story) while the 66-story tower will be the tallest building in Austin once it’s finished.
