I am a native Austinite and was born and raised in Westlake Hills.   My parents wanted to move out to the country and purchased a 1 ½ acre lot on Buckeye Trail two years before I was born.  The lot offered a downtown view and they built one of the first swimming pools in Westlake Hills when I was an infant.   My father served as President of the Eanes School Board and was active in changing Eanes from a county school to an Independent School District.
