AUSTIN, TX. – Thanks to a recent report from Texas Workforce Commission, and Community Impact, we know that Austin has the lowest unemployment rate in the state of Texas.

From December 2015 and December 2016, over 210,000 jobs were added in the Austin Texas area, including 800 non-farm jobs, keeping the unemployment rate steady at 4.6 percent.
