Got kids who love turtles? If so, you should go turtle watching at Austin’s turtle pond. Located at the LBJ Presidential Library, the turtle pond features a wide variety of snapping turtles so bring your camera and be ready to enjoy another iconic Austin attraction.

#5 – Visit Lady Bird Lake

If you love kayaking, canoeing, biking, hiking or walking, Lady Bird Lake in Austin Texas is another great spot for you to get your workout in while enjoying nature. #7 – Go Mural Hunting

Last of all, but most important is for you to go hunting for murals in Austin, and there’s a wide variety to choose from, including the “How Small Are You?” mural, to the “I love you so much” mural. After checking out the murals in Austin head over to Castle Hill to view the excellent graffiti art painted by artists from around the world since it’s a safe space for graffiti artists to work without having to look over their shoulders for the police.
