AUSTIN, TX. – After his health scare, earlier this year country music fans around the world began to wonder if Willie Nelson would start slowing down his touring schedule but thankfully the Red Headed Stanger’s health has improved and he’s looking forward to his 4th of July Picnic in Austin Texas.
About Willie Nelson’s 4th Of July Picnic
If you haven’t seen Willie Nelson live yet, his 4th of July Picnic is your chance to see him live in the Music Capital of the World.
The lineup for the 44th annual festival includes Willie Nelson & Family, Sheryl Crow, Kacey Musgraves, Jamey Johnson, Steve Earle, Margo Price, Hayes Carll, Billy Joe Shaver, David Allan Coe, and more outstanding country and Americana artists. Once again, the bonanza will feature food and beverage, wares from Texas-based vendors, and a firework display to celebrate Independence Day.
About Willie Nelson
Willie Hugh Nelson (born April 29, 1933) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, author, poet, actor, and activist.[1] The critical success of the album Shotgun Willie (1973), combined with the critical and commercial success of Red Headed Stranger (1975) and Stardust (1978), made Nelson one of the most recognized artists in country music. He was one of the main figures of outlaw country, a subgenre of country music that developed in the late 1960s as a reaction to the conservative restrictions of the Nashville sound. Nelson has acted in over 30 films, co-authored several books, and has been involved in activism for the use of biofuels and the legalization of marijuana. - Source Wikipedia
