AUSTIN, TX. – Are you searching for ways to celebrate Christmas in Austin Texas? If so, you’ve come to the right place! In this article, we will share with you 4 ways for you to celebrate Christmas and have a fun holiday.

#1 – Ice Skating

There’s nothing like ice skating during the holidays and some of the best places for you to lace up your ice skates in town include Chaparral Ice, Omni Baton Creek Resort, and Whole Foods on Lamar in Austin.

#2 – Armadillo Christmas Bazaar

Running until December 24th, the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar features over 160 vendors selling tons of great gifts. Each day of the Bazaar will also have live bands, great food, drinks and more.

Location – 900 Barton Springs Road

#3 – Decorate A Cedar Tree on Loop 360

If you family or friends in Austin, this is by far one of the most unique ways to get everyone in the holiday spirit and also “keep Austin weird” but keep in mind that the cedar trees on the 360 loop will have to be “un-decorated” after Christmas so on the day that you take your Christmas decorations down at home, you should take your 360 loop decorations down as well.

#4 – Mozart’s Coffee Roasters Holiday Experience

Another great Christmas tradition in Austin is Mozart’s Coffee Roasters Holiday Experience. Every year the coffee shop decorates their store with more than 150,000 Christmas lights set to popular songs from 2016, the show begins every night at 6:00 pm, runs for 12 minutes and lasts until closing time.

Location – 3826 Lake Austin Blvd
