Founded by Aaron Franklin, the annual hot luck festival combines two favorite passions of Austin locals: food and music.
A Texas-Sized Festival
There’s nothing better than combing food, music, and Austin because they all blend so perfectly together but what’s even better about the hot luck festival is that this festival is an easy-going festival that feels more like a family reunion or friendly tailgate than an actual festival.
At the Hot Luck Festival, you’ll meet other people who are passionate about music and food while you enjoy eating with your fingers the dozens of delicious meals prepared by expert chefs or passionate cooks who want to share their food with you.
A Portion of The Festivals Proceeds Will Be Donated to Charity
Hot Luck is proud to donate a portion of the festival’s proceeds to The SAFE Alliance. The SAFE Alliance is a merger of Austin Children’s Shelter and SafePlace, both long-standing and respected human service agencies in Austin serving the survivors of child abuse, sexual assault and exploitation, and domestic violence. A wide variety of food and music events comprise Hot Luck. Tickets for individual events will go on sale at 4 pm CST on Wednesday, February 21st, along with the chef lineup, initial music programming, and new events.
